Introduction
ADPHOAM Pre-insulated Phenolic Foam Block is made of phenolic resin, activator and other chemical additives. ADPHOAM use Phenolic Foam technology to provide high performance Heat and Cold Insulation. The Blocks’ common applications are for Cutting into Pipes by CNC Numerical Wire Cutting Machine. The Pipes can be used for the heat or cold insulation of water pipes, or other metal pipes.
Thermal Conductivity
ADPHOAM Pre-insulated Phenolic Foam Blocks are produced by semiautomatic equipments, and are rigid cellular closed-cell phenolic foam thermal insulation material providing excellent Thermal Conductive Values of 0.020~0.024 W/mk. This standard is the lowest thermal conductivity of any regular insulation material. This low K-value allows use of thinner insulation, which means less costs of finishing materials and may reduce congestion in confines space.
Fire Performance
ADPHOAM Pre-insulated Phenolic Foam Blocks produce virtually no smoke and do not emit toxic fumes when burned and sucessfully meet China Standard GB 8624 Class A (noncombustible) Fire Rating, also meet UK Class “O” (Low Risk) Fire Rating and also meets the US standard ASTM E-84-05 for Flame Spread and Smoke Devolopment. These tests sufficiently prove ADPHOAM Panels has superb Fire Resistance Performance which is quite appropriately used in any anti-fire projects.
Service Temperature Range
ADPHOAM rigid thermal insulation can withstand operating temperatures from -190℃ to +150℃. When it run across extreme temperatures, it does not soften, melt or drip.
